2011/07/25 - The 4th year anniversary - Looking back for a next step
From 8 to 11 July 2011, on the occasion of the company’s 4th year anniversary, S3 holds an exciting tour to Ninh Chu, Phan Rang. 90 staffs and 40 family members are present at the office at 9 pm on 8th July in the bustling and eager atmosphere. 10pm, 4 buses of Hoa Binh Tourist move to the blue sea and white sand of Ninh Chu.
At 6 am, we come to Saigon – Ninh Chu resort. Though being tired after a long journey, all of us feel merry and ready for the team building games.
4 teams including Seal16, Ga Mai Dau, Cuop Bien and SingTel join in the activities with the most efforts. Overcome 5 challenges, the teams finish their competition in the cheerful and supporting atmosphere. The teams perform their team work spirits, coordination and together in brainstorming to find out the best solutions.
In the afternoon, the 4th anniversary meeting ( July 2007 – 2011) takes place with the main responsibility of Mr. Thanh – S3’s CEO in the solemn and warm atmosphere. 4 years is not a very long time, but a great time for many achievements and growths, especially in the background of the economic crisis period, the time when many companies and association collapsed, in the world as well as in Vietnam. S3 (Sunrise Software Solutions) does not stay stable but move up!
We are growing from the first 7 members in 2007 to a staff of 90 in 2011. We makes spectacular step of increased average 140% for the last 4 years. We deserve to be proud of 1 awarded patent, 4 projects are under incubation and 2 ones are in process. We love to say that we are honourable to be partner of clients: Absolute Software, Novalsys, Ruckus, PI consult…
The mountain of reaching of 150 members with completely new and modern facilities supported for work. Along with the software outsourcing projects, we would develop the trade and marketing part by trading the products of our foreign clients. In parallel, we develop our own products which meet the native clients’ needs for market in Vietnam, coordination with strategic partner to product and supply the test service for chips, software, mobile...). We are ready to move into the next step in development process. The R&D activities, Innovation ideas are particularly focused, the Human Resources are well prepared to build up large –scale projects with both domestic and foreign partners. There are many things to do waiting for us. It needs a strong will in each member and a sustainable connection between us to continue growing. How to keep the current clients with the best services while develop the newly strategy, how to maintain a warm and professional environment of working, how to balance between work and play, how to execute in the shortest time and lowest cost for the most effective result…are the challenges along the path up to the mountain ahead.
At the end of the meeting, the board of management releases the list of staffs who have well performed in work and contributed best for S3, as well as those who are promoted to higher position.
The Gala Dinner is well prepared with interesting performance of 4 teams. Seal16 with comedy that makes all people laugh, SingTel with Green Fashion, all the customs are created from vegetables….Besides, other games such as “Q&A” with lovely gifts also attracts people to join. And the result is issued as follow: The 1st prize for Seal16, and in order are Ga Mai Dau, Cuop Bien and SingTel.
The second day is the short trip to view Vinh Hy bay, view the coral, taste the sea foods on the sea. After the trip under the hot weather of South Middle sea, we enjoy the cool wind blowing from the sea, view the coral from the boat with glass floor, have lunch with sea foods and regional foods.
The following night is the time we remember most. All teams gather on the sea shore to taste the sea foods, SingTel comes to local market and buy sea foods to cook by their own way. Another team gather on the green grass to sing, chat, share thoughts and feelings…until the midnight.
The exciting atmosphere seems to wander here and there in all of us. It is a little time for us to stop for looking back and contemplating what we had done. Together with the company’s members, the other relatives and friends also join in the trip, hiding away from the rush hours of working for a completely time of enjoyment. It is like an award for the hard working and dedication during the past 4 years. Rarely can we gather such fully team for a time of rest as most of the time we devoted to work. In the day off, we all share the moment of leaving all behind for a fresh mind. The period of 4 years with many milestones are recalled, the winnings to admire and experience to learn. All remind us about glamour past time and the more challenges ahead.
The last day of the trip is to come back HCMC in relaxed pace. We call at the pottery kiln, taste the wine, fresh grapes…and other special foods of Ninh Thuan. At 9pm, we are at the office. The trip finishes successfully in the content and pity, as we want to stay together longer, to enjoy the relaxation, to understand each other more and to become fond of under the only one house S3.
